Background of Headquarters Relocation
Since its founding in 2014, LINK-US has been developing and manufacturing world-first ultrasonic composite vibration bonding equipment for joining dissimilar metals. This innovative bonding method has been rapidly adopted in the manufacturing of next-generation batteries and semiconductors.
Ultrasonic composite vibration bonding offers a highly efficient and low-damage joining process compared to conventional methods. It utilizes a unique patented technology that employs ultrasonic vibrations in circular or elliptical patterns.
Thanks to our dedicated research and development efforts, and the support of our customers, our technology has gained high recognition in the fields of automotive lithium-ion batteries (LiBs) and power semiconductors. Unlike conventional joining methods, our technology eliminates the formation of alloy layers and the inclusion of impurities. Furthermore, as ultrasonic vibrations create atomic bonds between materials, the process generates minimal heat and eliminates the need for cooling, resulting in a 90% reduction in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions compared to conventional welding methods.
